Baine and Beau's Birthday Parties

For Baine's Birthday we went to Happy Joe's on Tuesday night with Brook, Austin, Banx, Bond, Billy, Ari, Emmy and Scott and Michelle. All the kids love going here to get tickets and buy the most ridiculous toys EVER!

Saturday, for Beau's birthday, we took the kids and Emmy to Chuck E Cheese. The kids love it here and again, those darn tickets and cheap toys! :) Some day they will learn :)

On Sunday, Beau had his first party with non-family member friends. He had Behr, Carson and Brody over to play for the afternoon. The kids had a great time playing outside, playing Mario Kart, building legos, and eating cake :)

Later in the afternoon, we had the rest of our family over to celebrate. I love having a house full of family and friends, and it is rare when we have an empty house. I hope Beau and Baine know how loved they are :)  Happy birthday boys! Mommy and daddy love you so incredibly much!

Beau Paxton, I cannot believe you are 6 years old already. I remember the day you were born just as it were yesterday. You are such an amazing little boy. In fact, you were just recently given an END of the year 1st grade math test, and you totally rocked it. I love that you love to learn and your passion for school right now. Please never change. Family Autumn Acres Night at Church

The other week was Autumn Acres night for church. Joe took the kids and by the sound of it, they all had a great time (well maybe not Joe ;).  Beau and Baine love going to Autumn Acres. Baine was "accidentally left" in the tractor ride and rode it pretty much all night, and Beau enjoyed jumping on the hay, playing in the corn and going down the slide.

Baine: 3 Years Old

I cannot believe you are 3 today, Baine Joseph. You are our little firecracker. There is never, EVER a dull moment with you. You are so full of energy. You love your big brother, and are loving your new role as Big Brother to Piper. You always ask 'Where my baby at?" (while you hold your hands out ;). You are talking so much better and we can understand you almost all the time now. We are hoping speech therapy and your surgeries helped with that! While you test our patience and can be very ornery, you are still my sweet baby boy. The moments when you ask me to hold your hand as you fall asleep and still ask to be carried, I don't want those days to end. I cherish every second I have with you - yes, even when I am yelling at you ;).

At 3 years old you are:
-attending 2 year old pre-school with Ms. Richelle
-starting to learn your colors and shapes
-favorite color is Pink (daddy does not like this)
-loves Boss Baby
-favorite food: CANDY (especially starburst)
-LOVE your blanky and dragon stuffed animal
-You have been potty trained for months now, and you are now starting to make it through the night with no accidents!!! :)

Beau's Parent-Teacher Conferences Fall 2017

Last night Joe and I had Beau's conferences for Kindergarten. There is truly nothing more exciting than hearing positive, wonderful things about your child from his/her teacher. We have known for some time that Beau is gifted in Math. However, I hadn't said anything at the school yet because I was waiting to see if they were seeing it or if maybe it was just a fluke and not doing as well with Math as we thought. Well, one of the first things Mrs. Anderson said last night, "Now, we need to figure out what we are going to do with our little mathematician on our hands.". I asked her if she had been noticing it or if it was just hear-say. She told us she noticed it right away, and so she is having the TAG teacher come in to help get ideas as to what to do with Beau. They recently gave him the END of the year math test for 1st grade, and he totally rocked it. So now we need to decide what to do. I am so proud of him and how well he is do in all areas of school right now. His reading scores are above normal and his behavior is right on track (or so we're told ;). I hope he continues to love school as much as he does right now. I foresee an extremely bright future for Mr. Beau Paxton Pierson!
