Our Family :)

This year has been such a wonderful year for our family.  I am so grateful and blessed to have everything that has been sent my way, especially Joe and Beau.  Having our own family now has certainly brought happiness to our lives, and I cannot wait for all of the exciting memories to come :)

My Own Little Shopper :)

Beau truly does love to shop...for those of you who don't believe me, look at him smiling here with excitement to go shopping with Grandma Michelle and Uncle Josh! :)

5th Christmas...at Mom and Dennis's

Beau looks a little frightened here, but don't be fooled, he LOVED all of his Polo apparel Nana and Dennis got him for Christmas :)
Mom has a chest of her favorite clothes that Brook and I wore when we were babies/toddlers.  Beau had a few accidents at Nana's house, and I ran out of clothes.  So my mom went to the chest and dug out this sleeper that I used to wear...a zebra sleeper!  It looks so cute on Beau!  We compared my baby picture to this picture, and he definitely looks like mommy here :)

Bankers LOVES her cousin Beau!

I think Nana has a new favorite little man :)

4th Christmas!

I think Grandpa Scott is pretty fond of Beau :)

Our fourth Christmas, was back at Scott and Michelle's for Michelle's side of the family.  A little surprise happened this year, Sarah (Joe's cousin) and her boyfriend Cale got engaged!  We are so happy for them and cannot wait to be there for the wedding! :)

Christmas at Dad and Shari's

Our third Christmas was at Dad and Shari's...Beau and Banx took a few power naps while the adults watched Hangover Part II.  I think Banx had fun opening her presents, and Beau's as well!  It has been so fun to have the babies together at all of the Christmases :)

2nd Christmas on the list...at Scott and Michelle's :)

Beau thought he would help grandma and grandpa out with opening their presents :)
Even Macee and Butters wanted in on the present-opening action!
Scott and Michelle gave this personalized book to Beau, it is so precious and every page says Beau's name somewhere in the story :)

Merry Christmas To All!

Ready for our first Christmas of the many we had....the Converse Christmas!

Beau loves to dress like daddy...especially with a matching pea coat :)

My two favorite girls :)
Christmas at my mom's house for the Converse side is always a good time....looks like Brook and Beau needed a power nap with all the action going on!
There is nothing sweeter than to be at a family Christmas, look over on the couch and see your sister cuddled up with your baby sound asleep.  PRECIOUS!

Two Men and a Baby

Just hangin' out, watching TV

Beau loves his "uncle" Clint!

SMILE

Beau already loves to smile and pose for the camera!

Beau's Best Friend

Even though Macee is a little jealous of Beau getting all of the attention now, she sure seems to love him.  Beau has a new best friend, and they love to cuddle in bed :).

Beau's First "Boy's Night"

With "Uncle Alex" and "Uncle Billy"

Chillin' with Kyle

The other Friday night, Beau had his first official "boy's night" (with the exception of mommy being there) and loved all of the attention his "uncles" gave him.  They are already teaching him to be a tough little guy!  Mid-night, they ended up propping Beau up in his bobby pillow to watch TV on the couch with them...priceless.

Such a Dramatic Sleeper

Beau is starting to become very dramatic...even when he sleeps!  Sunday morning I put Beau in our bed as I got ready, and apparently I had the TV too loud because he rolled on his side and put his hand over his ear as if he was saying "mom, it's way too loud in here for me to sleep!".  It was priceless :)

Looks Like Trouble To Me!

When Beau was born, I joked that he takes after his daddy in the sense that he was born on a Friday right before 5:00 p.m. and made it in time to party all weekend (he wanted to make it in time for "5:00 somewhere")  This weekend, he really followed up with the whole "party" idea.  We were at Scott and Michelle's house Saturday night, and Beau decided he wanted to be where all of the action was.  So Joe put him up on the bar and propped his head up with paper towels.  Beau looked as happy and content as could be.  And as soon as we took him off the bar, he started SCREAMING.  So we put him back up there, and he was quiet as could be and just stared at everyone sitting by the bar.  This looks like trouble...my son is already a fan of the weekends and bars!  Just kidding!! :)

Best of Both Worlds

Brook and I have joked with each other that she's only going to have girls, and I'm only going to have boys, so we'll just share days with the kids so we can feel like we have a boy and a girl :)  Since I "am only having Beau", I am getting the best of both worlds.  I still get to see the pink toys and dollies around if Beau keeps getting Bankers' hand-me-down toys at Nana's.  I don't think Joe was too impressed when I told him he LOVED the pink bouncer at Nana's yesterday...oh well!

New Adjustment

Monday was my first day back to work, and it was extremely hard to leave Beau to say the least.  It really helped to know that he was in good hands with Nana, but still...he's my baby and I hadn't spent a day without him yet! My mom has made it easier though by sending me several text pictures throughout the day, and I may or may not be that mom that calls every hour or less to check in to see how Beau is doing :).

The kids at school helped the day fly by (it also helped that I missed all of my students and it was great to see them and the other teachers as well)!  What is making this new adjustment a little better, is that I know everyday I have a beautiful baby boy and husband to come home to (or more like go pick up Beau and wait for Joe to get home at night from working at our new house).

Last Few Days at Home With Mommy

Hanging out in mommy and daddy's bed while mommy is getting ready :)

Since I go back to work Monday, Beau and I have been having EXTRA cuddle time this week.  When Beau is on his schedule, he truly is a great sleeper!  He goes to bed around 10:30 and wakes up only one time in the night before he wakes up around 7:00 am for the morning feeding time :)  So every morning this week, I go and get Beau once he wakes up, and he makes his way into bed with mommy and daddy.  I have to admit, Beau and I have stayed in bed most mornings together this week.  These past weeks sure have gone by fast.  Going back to work Monday will be so bitter-sweet.  It helps that I do absolutely love my job and miss my kiddos terribly, but I just don't know how I will adapt to dropping Beau off everyday while I go to work.

Beau's First Santa Experience!

Banx just LOVES her cousin, Beau and can't take her eyes off of him :)  I think she is going to be a little protective of him :)

Wednesday night at Church, Santa came to visit all of the kiddos!  Brook and I decided we wanted Beau and Banx to see Santa too :)  Since the other kids didn't know Santa was at church to see them yet, we had to go get pictures taken with Santa in the janitor's closet (hence the ugly background ;) ) so the other kids wouldn't see Santa and ruin their surprise.  I didn't want Beau getting trampled by the other kids, so that's why we took pictures first :)
At first, Beau just stared up at Santa.  But once I stepped away to take pictures, he stuck his bottom lip out and started to pout....he looks just like his daddy when he does that...just kidding :)  But overall, Beau loved being held by Santa and gazing at his white beard.

Drama King

Beau is starting to smile more and more every day now, but he frequently give us this look as if he is thinking so hard.  He will go from smiling, to cooing, to this serious look as he has above.  He is pretty dramatic :)

Such a Ham

Beau is already loving the attention from the camera and loves to "pose" with his hand on his face every time he gets his picture taken.  Completely priceless :)

Lake Memories

Part of the gang for the Rathbun Lake Anniversary
My favorite boys (minus Beau now)
Oh my...they make me so proud

Even though it's not in focus, it captures what a typical evening on the boat is like :)

We were going through Michelle's camera today and found these pictures that were from the lake this summer.   As you can tell, we have a fun group of people at the lake every weekend.

Such a Snoozer!

For those of you who don't quite know or believe us, Beau truly is a heavy sleeper!  He loves to be cuddled and will sleep through anything...hence the pictures above.  He falls asleep with whoever is holding him :)

Happy Birthday, Grandma Michelle!

Today is Grandma Michelle's (and cousin Banx's) birthday!  Last night we went to one of Grandma Michelle's favorite restaurants, Kaldera, to celebrate.

Mr. Fashion Himself

Now that I am fully recovered and getting a little bit of cabin fever, I have had a lot of fun shopping already for Beau.  Whoever says that you can't find cute clothes for boys, they are completely wrong!  Beau has already become my little fashion boy and I've been "dressing him up" in all of the cute outfits that have been given to us.  He had better get used to this :)

Daddy's Little Side-Kick

Joe and Beau dressed to match for dinner Friday night.  If you can't tell, Joe is one proud daddy and is already teaching Beau to love clothes as much as he does!

Our Little Cuddle Bug

Grandpa Gene came over the other night for a surprise visit to see Beau.  I never grew up with any grandpas, so I'm really excited for Beau that he is so loved by two grandpas that are already spoiling him.  Grandpa Scott and Grandpa Gene seem to be pretty excited to have a little boy in the family now :)
