Taking Care of Piper :)

Banx is so good with Piper Collins. The other night at Brook and Austins, Piper needed jammies after her bath. So Banx took her into her room, found clothes to kind of fit her, dressed her, and did her hair. It was the sweetest moment ever and I just love how close these two are :)

Sibling Cuddles

Beau and Piper fell asleep the other night like this while we were watching a movie. I love how SHE is the one with her arm around him :) These two have a special bond--that's for sure. I hope it always stays like this.

Texting With Beau

Since Beau had been gone from me for a week while his siblings were sick, he was texting me quite often--which I love!! This is just a normal Beau/mommy conversation we have as of now :)

Family Church Skate Night

Beau and Banx LOVED skating and had a great time. They are getting so much better! Piper tried her best, but just was lazy and in the end wanted to be carried :) Baine, well he didn't like the skates because he couldn't do it--and we all know he gets frustrated when he can't do something his big brother can. Overall, the kids had fun and it was a great night!

Sledding Down The Stairs

Baine and Piper were being very creative last week to entertain themselves while sick (and on the mend). I found them on the stairs, with the lid of their toy box, and going down the steps. I'll give them credit for creativity :)

Sledding Day at Jodee's

Jodee is so good at taking our kids to do fun activities. Since Friday was a snow day and I was home with two sick kiddos, Beau wanted to go play at Jodee's. He had a blast sledding and having snowball fights. Love their snowman they made too :)

TBT of Kaylee and Piper

Kaylee sent me this picture the other day of her and Piper from last summer. This is one of my favorite pictures of the girls. Kaylee (and Abby) have become so close to our family and Joe and I see the girls as if they were our own. They are amazing with my kids, reliable, dependable, and responsible. We definitely hit the jackpot with babysitters! :)

Homemade Pizza Night

Daddy and the littles made homemade pizza the other night to give them a fun activity to do since they had been stuck in the house sick. They loved making their dough and making a mess---of course :)

Happy Birthday, Betsy!

I helped my good friend, Betsy, celebrate her birthday last weekend with a few other teacher friends. We had a great night listening to live music at Wood Iron Grille and joking now forever about the terrible service we had. As always though, we had fun and made memories to laugh at for years to come I'm sure. Happy Birthday, Bets!

Attack of Influenza B

Unfortunately, Influenza B hit Baine and Piper this winter. They were both down and out for a total of 2 weeks. Which meant a lot of snuggles, kleenex, ibuprofen, and quarantine. The snuggles was the best part. They both just wanted to be held and watch movies---I think I could handle that anyway :) I am very thankful (knock on wood) that Beau didn't get sick. He stayed with Grandma Chelle and Grandpa Scott for over a week so he would stay healthy. He may or may not have gotten spoiled with gourmet breakfast everyday, smoothies, and movie nights with popcorn. He wasn't as excited to come home as I wished ;) Moments like this, I am so grateful to have family right here to help out. I couldn't imagine doing this with no family around.
Happy to report, as of now, we are back at 100% healthy in the Pierson house! Hopefully this was our only case of the flu this winter and we are good to go from here on out.

Beau the Bookworm

Last week Beau had a haircut, and he just refused to put his book down. He was so into it and loves this series he's reading. I never have to fight Beau to read or get his minutes in, he does that on his own ;)

Christmas at Dad and Shari's

Since Brook and I were gone at Christmas, we had a delayed get together at my dads. But the kids didn't know any different, and they loved that Christmas kept on going :) We had a great day watching movies, spending time together, and letting the kids plan wild all afternoon.
