Teacher's Parade

With school being cancelled (for now) due to the Corona Virus, Osky held a teacher's parade last week so teachers and students could "see" one another from their vehicles. I just love the amount of Osky Pride we have in our town and I am so proud to be a community member and part of our schools!

Brook's Birthday Weekend at the Lake

When Austin, Banx and Bond picked up Brook and I from the airport, he surprised us by having everyone packed and we were headed for the lake. We were jet lagged and exhausted, but it was nice to see everyone (Dad and Shari, Joe and my kids included) in the same house to spend time together. I hope you had the best birthday Brook, and I just know this year is going to bring great things your way!!

Charleston Trip: Day 3 Part II

For our last night in Charleston, we just walked to walk through the Old Market again, get some ice cream and walk the board walk. It was so peaceful. Brook and I had the best time together. Had a lot of heart to heart talks, laughs, and maybe even a little too much wine. We decided we are going to start doing a girls trip every 1 - 1/2 years for our birthdays. I can't wait for the next one already!

Charleston Trip: Day 3 Boone Hall Plantation

Our last full day in Charleston was phenomenal. We went to Boone Hall Plantation, and just wow. The drive down it has been used in many movies and tv shows (it was also the setting for Allie's summer home in the Notebook). This was the place where we learned most about plantation slavery and the history from South Carolina and most of the South.

This tree is a Live Oak (Very common in the South and is over 600 years old!)
