Gone Fishing!

Mary sent me this picture of Beau "fishing" for toys in the toy-box at her house.  I guess this means Beau will want to go fishing this summer at the lake!

Spa Night....sort of

Two nights ago, Beau found my cooling spa mask in the freezer.  He came running out of the kitchen into the living room asking me to "put on face mommy!".  I put it on his face, and he loved it!  For the rest of the night he wanted it on his face, and then on his feet.  I guess he wanted a mini spa night :)

Church Family Bowl Night

Last Wednesday night was family bowl night for church.  I normally am not a fan of bowling, but it was so much fun for Beau and Banx!  At first they didn't really care about bowling, until they realized the wanted to bowl for EVERYONE!  I can't wait to take them back again!

Two of a Kind

It goes without saying, that Beau and Banx are definitely two of a kind.  They are inseparable and I love that!  At Ellie's funeral last week, the two would not leave each others side and of course wanted to pose for the camera..."cheeeeeeese!"

Day at Home With Daddy

The other week Beau was sick and needed to stay home.  Since I had to be at work that day, Joe stayed home with Beau.  Needless to say, I think there was more play at home than rest for Beau.  Joe sent me this picture of Beau riding around in his dump truck Grandma Betty gave him for Christmas.  Oh the joy of little boys :)

Cookie Monster

Beau absolutely LOVES going to Smokey Row.  It is normally our Friday date time (Beau and I).  Every time we drive by, he says he wants ice-cream.  Sunday we took Beau to reward him for doing so well on the big boy potty.  He went to town on his cookie, which was bigger than his face!

What happened to my "baby"?

Joe recently went through his old phone and was showing me pictures/videos of Beau from when he was a baby.  Where has the time gone?!  Really makes me realize how I need to be cherishing everyday I have :)

Christmas with the Pierson Family!

This year for the Pierson Christmas, we all stayed at the Ramada Inn that has an indoor water park.  Best idea ever for the kiddos!  Beau, being the water bug he is, absolutely loved the water park and would have stayed in the pool all day if we let him.  It was great seeing everyone finally after year!  Hope to make this a new "Christmas tradition" :)
