End of 7th Year Teaching

Another successful year in the books! This was a hard year teaching, not because of school or students, just due to finding a new normal in life and starting new with everything. I did continue my tradition of writing my students individual letters. However, instead of baking cookies like I normally would do with my mom, I did something different and did ice-cream sundaes instead. Maybe it's just time to start new traditions in general. Either way, my students are so amazing and I am PROUD to be their teacher. I will miss them this summer, truly.

My 3 Lazy Boys

This is what my bed looks like every morning. Ever. Single. Morning. Sleepy bums! :)

Finally "Deck" Season

We love spending time on our deck and just watching the kids play in the back yard. Finally it is nice out to be enjoying it, and the boys are too. Of course, Beau prefers to read rather than play and Baine prefers to eat EVERYTHING while waiting for Beau to play :)

Beau's Last Week of Kindergarten

OES always does a phenomenal job of planning fun activities for the kids the last week or two of school. We have such amazing businesses in our community who volunteer to help, donate items or donate money to make these field trips and fun days happen. Thank you OES for all that you do for our kids!
Beau's class went on field trips to: the hospital, police station and fire station, and then had lunch up town on the square.

The entire elementary participated in FIT day on Tuesday. All students and staff went to the football field and had fun games to play, dance, and to get up and move to exercise. I was told Beau loved all the games except for dancing, he didn't want to dance :)

Last Soccer Game of the Season

Last night, Beau and Bond had their last soccer games of the season. Beau has been doing soccer for three years now---3 long years---and he is still loving it. He improved a lot this season and even though they didn't win many games, Beau had a great time.

End of Year Date With Beau

When Beau was little, we had our tradition of going on a mommy/son date to Smokey Row every Friday after school. Now that we have 3, and Beau is involved with activities and life is crazy, we can't always make our Friday's work. So to celebrate Beau's first year in school and the end of the year, we had our date day yesterday. And it was SOOO NEEDED!

Bath Time Babies

All 3 of our kids love taking baths. Of course bath bombs make it better and more exciting when the water turns colors!
