Piper Collins Updates

Piper is not quite 2 1/2 yet, but she has accomplished two huge milestones in the past few months! This winter, she gave up her paci, and it was no big deal at all! We just told her she needed to give it to a new baby, and that was the end of it. She didn't fuss or ask for it again. I still can't believe how easy that was-given how attached she was to it. And last week, I potty-trained Piper in just a matter of a few days! She has totally been rocking it. She now even goes to the toilet herself, without my help. All in one week! I can't believe how easy it was with her. She is my most stubborn child, so I thought for sure she'd be going to Kindergarten in a pull up :) Way to go, Piper Collins. So proud of you sis!

Cheering the Girls Off to State

Our girls softball team made it to state again this year, so of course we had to go to the send off tow wish them luck! Even though they didn't win at state, we are still so incredibly proud of the girls!! Indian Pride :)

3 Musketeers

Joe sent me this picture the other day of when he took the kids mushroom hunting behind our house. I don't know why, but I just love this picture. My kids love to be outside. They love to go on "hikes" at Jodee's always, and are always up for doing something new with mommy or daddy. And Piper's hands in her coat just crack me up :)

Riding Out the Storm

Last weekend was one of the scariest moments of my life. We had a great weekend with family and friends, up until Saturday night---when the storm hit. We were stuck out on the water when a huge storm came out of nowhere. Winds were over 80 mph. Our boat and trailer had damage, but by God's grace, no one was seriously hurt. I still can't believe it.

Build a Bear Day

I took the kids to Build a Bear last week, and it was a huge hit as always. It was Piper's first time, and she was so enamored by how it worked.

Daddy's Golfing Partners

Joe is loving golfing now, and often he will take at least one of the kiddos with him (also for my sanity and to give me a break). I think the kids mainly like to go because of the golf cart ride. But who am I to judge, it's my favorite part too ;)

Fun With Daddy's Drone

Another Weekend at the Lake

We had family weekend a couple of weeks ago, and it was just the 5 of us. We decided to give Piper another chance at the lake-since she had been on "probation" for always taking her life jacket off. Needless to say, she is back on probation :) Baine tubed for the first time-and did awesome!
