NYC: Day 3

NYC Day 3 (These two may never travel with me again after I have schlepped them to every possible item on my itinerary through sickness, a recovered knee replacement, and a possible hangover or two.)

•Breakfast at Ellen’s Stardust Diner (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!)

•Paige lost her “big girl” hotel room key within 12 seconds of getting it after Dad had to go to the front desk to beg for her to have her own because she didn’t want to share one w/ me

•Snowstorm in Times Square

•Empire State Building tour

•New York Public Library

•Flatiron Building

•Chinatown

•Little Italy

•Canal Street vendors

•Pizza “pie” at Lombardi’s for “Pi Day”

•Lower Manhattan audio bus tour

•Charging Bull statue/Wall Street

•Federal Courthouse

•Hell’s Kitchen

•USS Intrepid (We did not actually visit this up close. We were worried Dad would channel his “Top Gun” energy and start singing “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’” to the ticket lady.)

•”Chicago” on Broadway

•Dinner at Gallaghers Steakhouse (where Dad returned the favor of embarrassment when he asked for Ranch for his calamari and a “sample” of Stella beer, like we were at Baskin-Robbins or something)

•“Late Show” sighting

It was a good day.
