Saturday, Joe and I had to quickly run to Des Moines to take care of my car. So my dad and Shari offered to keep the kids a few hours so we could go faster. It was the PERFECT morning date. We have not had a relaxing, enjoyable time like that together in quite some time. We know we need to make it happen more often. But life gets busy as usual, it doesn't always work out to get away. We will make a better effort in doing so, though!
