NYE 2018: Jade an Garrett's Wedding

We were able to ring in the new year by celebrating Jade and Garrett's wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and Jade looked fabulous as always. Joe and I are very grateful for how close we have become with Tara's family and just think the entire world of the them. Cheers to 2019! It's going to be a good one!

Table 18-where the party was at ;)

I wore my mom's fur coat (which was the 2nd time I've ever worn it). As soon as my Aunt Joi saw me walk in, she came up and hugged me and told me she remembers the day exactly when my mom got this coat and I totally reminded her of my mom. I love when people tell me what they remember about Mom or how I/Brook remind them of her. I hope these moments never stop.

Gerard Christmas

Seriously, I think my family wants to scream at me for wanting to many pictures this Christmas :) I can't help myself, I feel like the kids are changing in the blink of an eye and I don't want to forget any moment of how they looked, how they acted, talked, etc. But I promise to take it easy. For now. Maybe. We'll see ;)

Converse Christmas

Christmas with my mom's side of the family was at our house this year, and it was a great night. We were sad not everyone could be there, but when you have such a big family that's going to happen. The kids had fun playing nerf guns by shooting the cups on the puppet show house, and our White Elephant gift exchange ruffled a few feathers as usual---sorry Uncle Roger ;)

Aunt Joi gave this apron to me :) Totally reminding me of my mom here

Crazy Days with Kaylee and Abby

We really are so lucky to have such great babysitters - Kaylee and Abby. The kids love when the girls come over to "play" and never want them to leave.

Family Bowling Night

Beau really loves to bowl, and kept asking us to go bowling over Christmas break. So we thought we'd bring Uncle Josh along for family night. Piper insisted on wearing bowling shoes--but this was just to hear the "tap" noises her shoes made on the floor. We had the hole bowling alley to ourselves so it was a nice, calm getaway. Beau already can't wait for next time!
