Girl's Night With Dena

To get some last minute wedding shopping done, Dena and I had a girls night in Des Moines. It was the perfect day of spending time together, laughing, crying, and just being each other's "person". Her wedding is quickly approaching and I can't wait to see her walk down the aisle to marry the man of her dreams! 

Beau's Basketball Season So Far

Beau is absolutely loving basketball right now. He is getting better each week, and has a smile on his face the whole time - which is not his norm :). He loves to play defense the most and to steal the ball. We are working on his offense skills and driving the ball to the hoop. But I should cut him a little slack, he is only 7 ;)

Dress up and Hair With Piper

Piper LOVES for me to do her hair. She will run into her room, grab a bow, and say "mommy do hair?" "mommy my hair pretty?". She loves it when you say "oh Piper, you have such pretty hair" :). She will sit for at least 20-30 minutes and let me play with her hair and practice braiding it. I am really loving it to say the least. :)

This picture popped up on my Snapchat Memories the other day. I didn't even remember this picture or having it. I do remember this day though. My mom had come over on a Saturday to help with the kiddos because Joe was gone at work, and I was having a hard time in my last few weeks being pregnant with Piper. Nana came over with chocolate milk and donuts to distract boys for awhile so I could try and rest. It really is the little things and moments like this that I miss the most right now from my mom.
