Friday we went out to celebrate Tara's birthday. It was so fun to spend time with her family. We hope you had the best day ever Tara, cheers to this next year! Love you!

One of the Last Weekends at the Lake
Last weekend we had one of our last weekends at the lake. We had a mommy/daddy day on Saturday, and then had my dad and Shari come on Sunday with the kids. It was the perfect way to celebrate Tara's birthday, relax, and enjoy our last weekend of summer before school started.

Brody's Birthday Party
One of Beau's good friends, Brody, had his birthday party the other weekend. Beau said he had so much fun seeing his friends that he hadn't seen all summer. We hope you had a great birthday, Brody!

Last Donut Date of Summer
Iowa State Fair 2018
Beau was so excited when it was finally time for the Iowa State Fair! He had been asking about it all summer "mommy, when can we go to Nana's fair?". We were not allowed to stay, or even go, to my mom and Dennis' camper this year, which was very hurtful and unforgivable for what it did to Beau. But, Joe and I weren't going to let this nasty event keep our family from enjoying a tradition we love. I think the kids' favorite thing this year: Snakes Alive! Even Piper loved seeing the snakes. She's probably going to be my tomboy who catches wild animals and brings them in the basement along with Baine ;). Beau did the rock climbing wall and totally killed it again! We already cannot wait for next year!
