Piper's Birthday Weekend

The main things Piper asked to do for her birthday: go swimming, go shopping (at Target) and get her nails painted. So we thought it would be a perfect getaway to take the kids and friends and go stay at a hotel for her special day (right next to a Super Target too :). She swam her little heart out, play with her closest family/friends, and felt special all weekend. Exactly what she wanted and what every parent wants for her kids. We were so excited to see everyone that came up for her day. We hope you felt loved Piper---because boy you sure are by so many!

Happy 4th Birthday, Piper Collins!

Piper Collins, I cannot believe you are 4 years old. You are so funny, so sweet, full of sass, but still my little baby girl. Daddy and Mommy are so proud of you and can't wait to see all of the wonderful things you learn to do at 4. Happy birthday sweet girl!

Date Night With Papa and She-She

Papa and She-She took Piper on a date night for her birthday. They started off opening her birthday present--a new table and tea set. Piper insisted on having MANY tea parties all night and is excited for everyone to come to her house to enjoy it now :) They went out to dinner, had popcorn and movie night, and then snuggled all night. Little miss was spoiled all night and absolutely loved it all!

Piper Getting Dolled up for Date Night

To start off Piper's birthday weekend, Papa took her to Deb's salon to get her hair curled for her date night with Papa and She-She. Piper was in Heaven having her hair styled and all of the attention on her. Her smile says it all :)

Ash Wednesday Service

While Joe and I attended Ash Wednesday service, the kids youth group joined as well at the very end. We were so proud to see our three walk up front, and take the ashes as a cross marked on them.  We are ready for Lent. And preparing our minds and hearts for Easter.

Valentine Date

Joe and I had a day date on Saturday for Valentine's Day. The kids spent some time with babysitters--whom they love so much. So then for actual Valentine's Day, we spent it as our tribe of 5, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Joe and I cooked a big dinner. The kids actually played nice on the xbox. And then we had family card night with Uno. Mommy is still the winner ;) I hope everyone feels loved, cherished, adored, and special not just on Valentine's Day, but every day of the year. Something I need to do better of is telling my loved ones, friends included, how important they are to me and how much I love them. #2021goals.
