Zoo Day

To start summer off on a fun note, Tara and I took the kids to the zoo and met up with Alexa and her kids. The temperature was perfect, and a slight drizzle made it for a nice cool morning. The kids loved seeing the animals and overall were great!

Best friends at school: Chase, Remington, Jack, Karsen, Brody

Favorite book: Magic Treehouse series 

Fun facts: tallest in his class (probably out of all the 1st graders), still excelling in math and reading, had his first girl crush :) and made so many new friends this year!

Last Week of School

I cannot believe how fast, and yet how slow, this school year went. It started off so rocky with me being sick with pneumonia for over a month, then Beau breaking his arm and needing surgery, and then having a student teacher and almost a dozen snow days---this year was crazy! I am already missing my students so much, and worrying about many of them. We became very close this year, and we all confided in one another. I am already enjoying summer, but I will be so excited to see my students already come fall :)
