Lazy Bones

These two are notorious for laying down/falling asleep in the most random places and positions. They crack me up!!

Beau's Bridge in TAG Class

Beau's favorite class is most definitely TAG! He loves doing the projects and actives, and generally is the only class he wants to talk to me about after school. Last week they did a competition in TAG to see who could build the strongest bridge that could hold weight the longest---and Beau's group won--good job you three! Beau was pretty proud and excited to tell me about this, and Beau rarely gets excited about anything :)

Remembering Joyce and Mom

Joyce Dandruff passed away over the weekend, and it instantly flooded me with thoughts of mom and Joyce together at church. My mom was always in charge of the kitchen and cooking for youth groups and Vacation Bible School. Joyce was one of her main helpers in the kitchen, and my mom just adored Joyce and constantly was praying for her and her battle with cancer.

Time with Grandpa Scott and Grandma Chelle

Piper already knows she has us all wrapped around her little finger, and I think this just might include her grandparents :) She loves being at Scott and Michelle's and playing with "her doggy". Oh Piper C, what a handful you are already little miss ;)

Having Cale "Home"

Whenever Cale gets to come home on leave, he shows up at our door and we love it! Cale surprised us a few weeks ago by telling us he was on his way home (for unfortunate reasons) but we still have loved having him home for the past 2 weeks. Please come back home from Germany soon, we already miss you.

Baine's 1st Sushi Experience

Since Joe and I love sushi so much, we took Cale and the boys to Wasabi Tao (our favorite restaurant) over break. Baine quickly discovered his love for chopsticks and plowed through the rice and noodles--not so much the sushi :)
