Baine's Bedtime Activities

All Baine wanted for Christmas this year was a red bike. Well, Santa must have thought he was nice because that's exactly what Santa delivered. It's a balance bike, so hopefully he will learn to ride an actual bike soon from it. Or maybe even Beau too ;) So now at nights, or mornings, or just any point in the day, Baine is adamant about riding his bike throughout the house. It's his new favorite bedtime routine.

Our Pierson 3

I am still amazed on some days when I look at our Pierson 3, and see what great kids we have. Even when they have their naughty moments when you want to scream and pull your hair out, I am so grateful for these three healthy, happy babies. All of whom have completely different personalities which definitely makes it more interesting at home :)

Bedtime Stories With Dena

Dena is one of those friends you could only dream about having. She came over the other night to hang out, and wanted to stay until late to read bedtime stories and help get the kids ready for bed. How many friends would WANT to do that?! We love you "Aunt" Dena :)

Friday Night Basketball

Friday night we took Banx and Bond with us to the Osky basketball game (the boys are having one amazing season this year and we love going to their games!). It was so fun to have all 5 kids at the game to see them play together, with other kids, and to enjoy the basketball game too. Although, I think they liked the concession stand the best :) And, I selfishly loved seeing Bankers dressed in maroon to cheer on the Indians :)

Beau is Reading!

Beau has been able to read Level 1 books for a few months now, but I finally remember to capture it on video. When he went into Kindergarten, he could read on a little. And now he is reading young children's chapter books! I am so proud of him. Keep it up Beau Paxton!

Honoring Mom

To honor my mom, Brook signed us up to make signs to hang in our kitchens. I have ZERO crafty ability in my body so I was a little nervous to say the least. But, I am so excited with how these turned out! I absolutely love them. It now hangs in my kitchen and I know it will serve as a daily reminder as to how much my mom loved to bake and cook in her kitchen.

Christmas at Grandma Betty's

We had Christmas at Grandma Betty's a couple of weekends ago, and it was great to see the family the was able to make it. Beau was sick with the flu, so Joe stayed home on "cleanup" duty. Piper enjoyed getting handed around and getting the full attention she seems to crave lately :)
