Christmas Morning With the Pierson 5
On Christmas morning, Beau was eager to tell us it was time to get up. I had told him the night before, that he couldn't go out in the living room until mommy and daddy were up and we said it was okay. The boys slept in our room so "santa and his elves" could drop off more presents and fill the stockings. The kids were in such bright spirits to open gifts and even Piper was excited to tear at the paper.
Christmas Eve at Dad and Shari's
Since Christmas Eve fell on Sunday this year, we were able to go to church twice today; one for our regular church service and the second for the candle light service. After church, we headed to our house for awhile so the kids could nap and get rested before we left for my dad and Shari's.
The kids were on the go non-stop! They made cookies with She-She, played card games with Papa and She-She, then of course opened presents and had to play with their new toys right away. The adults needed to indulge in a few beverages, just to keep us sane and help Brook and I cope to be quite honest. But I'm quickly learning, that nothing is helping me anymore. But we all enjoyed our time together and were able to get plenty of quality time together, which is what it should be all about.
