Baine Going Off Diving Board
I cannot believe Baine is already going off the diving board! He has no fear of the water, which is good, but it also scares the heck out of me! He insists on holding a bug juice while jumping off, and I'm not sure why. Maybe for balance, or a security feeling? Either way, it's adorable and so awesome! :)
New Hiding Spot
Beau and Baine are so fun to watch play. They are into playing hide and seek right now, and I can't believe how well Baine actually does. He has found a new hiding spot, that even got me! He likes to go hide in one of the compartments in our desk, and won't come out until you find him! He is such a stinker :)
He's So Vain
Baine has always loved looking at himself in the mirror. Now that he is trying to mimic talking and moving his lips, he loves to just sit in front of the mirror and watch himself babble :)
Pool Days
Both boys are LOVING being at Nana's pool everyday so far. They are both total water babies and I cannot get them out of the water! As you can see, they have a rough life relaxing on the baby lounger when taking a swimming break :)
Catching Fireflies
Father's Day 2016
We celebrating Father's Day by going boating, and then having both dads over for dinner. Joe was spoiled with a new grill for father's day, so he was very anxious to use it that night :)
The boys are so lucky to have a dad like Joe. He is the most hands on, patient and loving father I could ever hope my children to have. He has always been good about helping with the baby phase, getting up in the night, doing night duty, changing diapers, keeping both boys by himself so I can have "mommy time" and so much more. I do not know of very many fathers who do all of that and actually enjoy it! Thank you so much, Joe, for spoiling our children with love. We are all so lucky to have you! I hope you had a great father's day!

Pleima Wedding
Day at Aunt Joi's Lake House
Last weekend, my mom and Dennis took the boys for the day since we had a wedding out of town. They ventured down to my Aunt Joi's lake house and were spoiled with boat rides and golf cart rides:) As long as both boys are in water or playing on some type of riding car, they are in Heaven!
Zoo Day
Joe and I decided to take Beau, Baine, Banx and Bond to the zoo the other day. It was the perfect day to go to the zoo: the weather was amazing, it wasn't very busy, and the kids were so well behaved! Baine was overwhelmed with all of the new noises he was exposed to and how busy it was, but he loved it! We loved taking the kiddos and seeing their excitement for all of the animals :)
2nd Drive-In Movie Night
Last year we started a Drive-In Movie Night at Brook and Austin's, and the kiddos loved it so much we all decided to do it again! This year, we watched Zootopia. Although it was a warm evening, the kids have fun driving their cars all around, and then enjoying home-made ice-cream and watching the movie.

Bath Time
It is no secret how much Baine loves his baths. In fact, we have to watch him carefully when the bath tub water is running because he now will jump into the bath tub with clothes and shoes on---he is just that anxious to get in the water! I love his cheesy smile here :) I finally have a happy baby again!
Hello Summer!
Now that it is finally summer, we have taken full advantage of going out to my mom's pool everyday to swim. Baine loves the water and is going to be a water bug just like Beau. It took Beau a little bit to get used to swimming again, but he is my little fish and came back to it right away! :)
Memorial Day Sleepover
On Memorial Day, we had Banx over at night since Austin and Brook had to quick take Bond to the ER (he had a bug, but he's ok!). The kiddos devoured their ice-cream and ended up sleeping in the living room in Beau's tent. I love seeing the kids have sleepovers like these. It just makes me want to have a house full of kids all of the time!
Tara's Baby Shower
Tara had her baby shower last weekend, and it was absolutely beautiful! I loved being there to help shower her with gifts for her and Baby Stout. Even though we do not know the gender of this baby, I do know that Baby Stout will be extremely loved and spoiled by all family members and friends.
Beau loved helping Tara "open" the gifts :) |
Emmy's Birthday at the Lake
Last Saturday, we went to the lake to celebrate our friend, Emmy's birthday. It was a beautiful day! While the guys had a little more fun than I had, it was still great to see everyone and relax without the kiddos. Happy birthday Emmy!
Visit to the Dentist
Oddly enough, Beau loves going to the dentist. He is definitely my child that is concerned about being healthy, eating healthy, and exercising. While waiting at the dentist office, Baine decided to make himself at home by coloring and showing the receptionist--cutest thing ever! Baine is not quite old enough to sit still for his own appt, but it won't be long until he is!
