Day 2, Part I

This one deserves its very own post.

I have done many historical tours in a variety of cities, but this one topped them all. Paige and I were anxious to take our dad on this tour.

Dad was one of the Musco employees who assisted with the 9/11 rescue and recovery effort. He was based at the Pentagon. He was finally able to share a few stories we had never heard as we prepped over breakfast this morning. I hope it was cathartic for him in some way to relive that portion of his life as we did the audio tour and the specialized Pentagon audiovisual tour. It was definitely emotional. I highly recommend this experience.
