Pedicure With My Mini

 

Joe and the boys went to the lake to set up the camper the other weekend. So, Piper and I decided to have a girls night and go get pedicures :) 

12 Year Anniversary

Joe and I celebrated our 12 year Anniversary by going to Des Moines and staying overnight. We ate at our favorite restaurant, Wasabi Tao for lunch, 801 for dinner, and stayed at our favorite hotel---Hotel Fort Des Moines. I cannot believe it has been 12 years already. Some days it feels like 30 years, some days it feels like it happened last week. It hasn't been easy, some days it has felt like we won't make it. I am thankful and forever grateful for the family we have created. 

Baine Field Trip to Science Center

Baine had his class field trip to the Science Center last week. When we asked him who he wanted to go with his as a chaperone, he instantly yelled "Papa!" We called my dad, and without hesitation my dad said he would be thrilled to take him. How many grandpas would drop everything at work, TAKE OFF work, and take their grandkid on a field trip?? My kids are so blessed :)

After the field trip, Baine was able to stay at work with Daddy and help him run the fork lift.
