New Toys

Grandpa Scott and Grandma Chelle had quite the surprise for the kids the other weekend. We were told to show up Saturday morning, wearing clothes to be outside in, and no electronics were allowed for the weekend. When we got to their house, they opened up the garage door, and there it was.  A new side by side for the boys and pink go-kart toy for Piper. And boy were they in heaven!!

Seeing how close Beau and Piper are just warms my heart. He is always taking her side with the kids are fighting. Always standing up for her. And always wanting to carry her around---which she loves. I hope Piper realizes how lucky she is to have older brothers that will forever look out for her and keep watch on her :)

 

Joe's 35th Birthday

To celebrate Joe's birthday, we had a combined birthday/engagement party for Joe and then our friends Clare and Reese (who just got engaged).  We had so much fun in Des Moines. Seeing everyone that we normally don't see on a regular basis was just what we needed. Joe is still saying how much fun he had his birthday weekend. This makes my heart so happy. He needed a stress-free weekend and a fun get away. 

I hope you had the best birthday, baby! This year is going to be an amazing trip around the sun.  

Cuddles With Baine Joe

Baine is my little cuddle bug. And I absolutely LOVE when he falls asleep next to me, holding my hand. I took this picture the other night of him holding me. He's so small right now. I don't want to forget moments like this and how small his hand is in mine.

One thing Beau is wonderful at--reading. He is really into all sorts of fictional books right now. Joe took this video the other night of Beau laying in (Piper's) bed, reading to his little brother. I never want to forget how sweet they are :)

Piper's new favorite dance stage and place to "play"--- on top of Koby's dog kennel. She thinks it is the perfect stage for her :)

Bath Time Diva

One of Piper's FAVORITE pass times: taking a bubble bath. And now, she loves to put her hair up in a hair towel and wear her robe. We are working on manners and how to behave like a lady. So the face that she is now wearing a robe and not running around the house naked is huge progress :)
