Family Miniature Golf Night

It was church's family mini-golf night last week. The kids all had a great time (except Baine had his temper tantrum and threw his golf club. Again) And Piper kept stealing everyone's balls then running away with them. But other than that, it was a fun family night! 

Our Village in Full Force

Since I had been so sick for over 3 weeks, we had a lot of family and friends helping out with laundry, food, and especially the kids. I am so grateful for everyone!!!! Dad and Shari were constantly helping with the kids, picking them up from daycare, watching them for an hour or two so Joe could get groceries, keeping Piper since she was susceptible to getting my pneumonia, etc. Thank you so much!! And I think the kids enjoyed getting spoiled by everyone during that long 3 weeks too :)

Mom's Headstone

After a long wait, my mom's headstone is finally in. It is beautiful, and I know she would love it. I still visit her all of the time, so now it will help with a sense of closure I think when I'm out at the cemetery talking to her. Thinking of you and missing you like crazy, mom. Love you, P.

For the Iowa vs IA State game, Kaylee and Abby came over to watch the kids. They clearly had a little too much fun playing dress up with Piper and having her dress in the WRONG team's  colors ;)

Piper Collins: Sweet and Spicy

Piper's personality is in full force lately! She is either the sweetest little girl ever, or a little ornery turd who likes to terrorize her big brother Baine. She is starting to talk more and really wants to have a full conversation. I don't think I'm ready for her back talking yet ;)

Baine's First Day of 3-Year Old Pre-School

Baine started 3-year old pre-school with Ms. Richelle for his second year with her. We absolutely love Richelle and all that she did for Beau and has done for Baine. Please stay long enough for Piper Ms. Richelle!!! Baine struggled last year with getting into the routine of "school" and adapting to a new schedule. But we have been working a lot with Baine and I truly believe his therapy has made thew world of difference for him so far. And Ms. Richelle thinks so too. The messages I received from her after Baine's first two days of school were the affirmations I was needing to hear. I am so proud of you, Baine Joe! Keep it up and I hope you have a great school year!
