Family Activity Day: Week 1

Joe and I decided that since the weather is finally nice, we should take advantage of it and start a tradition that every Sunday we do a family activity with Beau.  We started this week off by rollerblading on the bike path.  I had warned Joe and Michelle, who also came with us, that I am not the best at stopping on my roller blades.  I think they thought I was kidding.....

Even with me wiping out on the bike path the first TWO MINUTES into our outing, we kept on going and Beau endured a little sunshine along the way :)

Beau's First Babysitter :)

 

Last night, Beau helped me chaperone at the middle school for our Fun Night.  There was dodge ball, dancing, games and pizza!  Beau loved watching the students show their moves on the dance floor and even starting jumping up and down in my legs as if he were dancing to the music.  

Aubrey was Beau's first babysitter a few weeks ago.  Since I didn't get an official picture of his first night with her, I figured I'd capture one to night to make up for it! :)  He does like to flirt with Miss Aubrey....this is trouble!! :)

Happy Birthday, Aunt Brookie!

 

Tuesday was Aunt Brookie's birthday!  Beau helped Aunt Brook celebrate by playing piano with her, and bringing pizza over to her house for dinner!  We hope you had an amazing birthday Brook :).  Joe, Beau and I love you so much! :)

He's Got it Down!

 

Monday night at my mom's house, Nana thought she would try giving Beau his first taste of carrots.  It's a good thing she did, because he LOVES them!  He has this whole "eating food" thing down now, and is a very good eater :)

A Good Night to Grill!

Last night, Maggie, Pat and Natalie came over to grill out.  Beau hadn't seen Maggie since she was last home in December--so we were all excited to spend some quality time with her!  Since it was such a beautiful evening, Beau thought he'd "help" daddy grill.  I think he just wanted some alone time with dad :)

Getting Some Sun

Yesterday, Beau and I took a walk/jog for the majority of the afternoon.  We met up with Brook and Banx to go walk to the cemetary to visit our Grandma Peggy and then to feed the Ducks in the pond.  It was so beautiful out and sunny, so I thought Beau needed to enjoy the sun since he never has before!  Since it was a little bright out, Beau thought he needed to rock his new shades :)
