Easter With Brook

We celebrated Easter (the actual day) with my sister and her family. After our kids opened their Easter baskets the Easter bunny left, we played at our house, and then ended the day by having an amazing Easter dinner at Brook's house. It was a great day. One positive outcome during this pandemic, is all of the family time we have been enduring. I love it, and the kids most definitely do as well. 

Easter 2020

Easter was quite a bit different this year. We couldn't have our normal Easter at our house with the Converse side. We couldn't get together with my dad and Shari. We couldn't go to church. It just felt so weird with everything shut down and being quarantined. We did go out to Scott and Michelle's though to see them and spend time with Josh since he came back. The kids had a lot of fun doing an Easter egg hunt there and of course playing with Uncle Josh all day and night. We made the most of our day and had a great time together. We already are anticipating next year and going back to the way things should be :)

Friday Field Trip

Brook and I took the kids to see the buffalo a couple of Fridays ago. We all needed out of the house and to go for a drive. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing out of the house and to see awesome wildlife--the kids loved it.
