Family Nights During Christmas Break

Christmas break went by way too fast as it always does, but this seemed to be the first time in so long that we had down time and could spend so much time with our family and friends. We love the nights at home when the kids are all playing and we can sit back and watch the craziness unfold :) 

Piper: 22 months

Piper I refuse to believe that you are nearly 2 years old. Honestly, where have the past two years gone?! 

Right now you are:

-Trying to potty train

-Sleeping 12+ hours still at night

-LOVES sleeping in your big girl bed

-Talking NON-STOP

-Beau is your favorite, otherwise you are a mama's girl right now

-Favorite saying :"hold you" (when you want to be picked up and held)

-You love your dolls/babies right now and carrying a purse :)

-Favorite food: ANYTHING

-You have discovered juice and you are a little obsessed :)

-You and Baine fight non-stop, but you always want to play with him first

Happy Birthday, Alex

We went to Des Moines to celebrate our good friend Alex's birthday. We had such a fun day hopping around to little bars and end the night at the cheese bar and desert shop. Happy birthday, Alex! Hope it was the best one yet :)

Piper definitely loves having her picture taken these days. If I ask her if she wants a picture she'll say "yeah, ready mommy? Cheeeeee" :)

Canned Food Drive Winners!

Our school did a canned food drive the past week, and my 3rd period class was the winning class bringing in 166 cans in just 4 days! I am so proud of my kiddos for contributing, and understanding the importance of giving back to our community when we can.
