Finishing Beau's Room

Since Beau moved to the master suite in the basement, we never really "fixed" it up for him. I decided it was time to finally make it HIS room. My dad was so sweet and kind to come over and help me do Beau's room! Honestly, this is the kind of stuff my dad thrives on. Organizing, cleaning, fixing up, you name it and he always helps if he can! Thank you sooooo much, Dad! You made beau super excited about his room! 

Weekend at Thunderhead

My Aunt Joi had invited us down to her lake house for the weekend to help celebrate her birthday early :) The kids all had fun together playing, splashing, and Beau had the time of his life on the tube with Clint and Daddy. Thank you so much for having us Aunt Joi and Uncle Roger :)

Date Night

Friday, Joe and I had a date night and went to Pella with Shawn and April. Thanks for being my forever person, Joseph Aaron 💛

Family Night Up Town

 

Last Thursday we went to "Thursday's on the Square" to listen to the city band, play games with kids, and go to the Alley to visit with friends. Beau loved playing Scrabble in the grass, while Baine and Piper played with toys and ATE! We ended the night with Headbandz Game. These nights are rare with our crazy schedules, but I'm glad we were able to make this one work :)

Sweet Corn Season

It's that time of the year again when the Pierson boys (kids now ;) are selling sweet corn. Joe and I both sold sweet corn as kids to make money, so I'm excited our boys are wanting to carry on that tradition and build up their work ethic. Beau knows that this year he has to help pick all the corn, bag it up, and carry on the full conversation himself when selling the corn. We have yet to see him successfully do all three of these ;) But there is still time! Proud of you Beau.

Library Play Time

I took the kids to the library the other day, and just watched them play for quite awhile. I wanted to make sure I captured some of it on video, so I can always look back and remember how they interact while they were young. Warms my heart, that's for sure.

Beau Tubing and Diving

Beau has grown so much this summer with his strength in swimming. Has totally has diving mastered, and now loves to tube, even by himself!
