Piper Collins: 18 months (almost)

In a couple of weeks Piper will be 18 months old, how is that possible?! She is getting to be quite the little character too! And SHE FINALLY HAS HAIR!!!!

At 18 months:

-eating EVERYTHING in sight

-drinking out of straws finally

-sleeping 13-14 hours every night!

-talking more! says: mama, dada, Beau, Bay (Baine), up, out, down, hot, hi, bye, Papa

-wearing size 18-24 months

-size 6/7 shoes (big foot!)

-getting blonde, curly hair in

-eyes are dark brown

-laughs at everything!!!

Build A Bear Disaster, and Brew Flix Movie Night

I was one of the the crazy moms who took her three children ALONE to wait in line for a build a bear for the price of each child's age. Well, needless to say, we did NOT get a bear and the kids could not wait in line that long. But it was a crazy adventure to try :)

So that night, Joe and I took the boys to a movie at the Flix Brewhouse movie theatre and they loved it! I can't even believe how well Baine did.

When we got home, we sat Baine on the counter while we unloaded car, and he passed out! I guess he was a little tired?? :)

Beau Day 2k18

Since having 3 kids, and having less help now the past year, we have quickly noticed that Beau often feels "left out" or frustrated with his younger siblings. Much of our attention sometimes goes to the babies since they need so much direct help. Joe and I decided that we are going to start doing "kid" days now. Every so often, few months, year, we don't know yet, but we are going to do a day with just us and one of the kids where that whole day is dedicated to just the 3 of us. So we started with Beau, giving him a Beau Day. We took him to Adventureland and we had a great time together just us 3. Beau rode the rollercoasters, we went to the Adventure Bay, and gave him our complete undivided attention. Best day in a long time!
