That cliche saying "it takes a village to raise a child", well it couldn't be more true. As hard as this year has been, I still am so thankful and feel incredibly blessed to have such amazing people in our "village" that help us with our kids. While I was gone in Gulf Shores, I had amazing babysitters, my cousin Tara and my dad and Shari help Joe out with the kids so he wasn't so overwhelmed with work and taking care of 3 VERY busy children. You all are amazing, and I love each and every one of you :)

Baine Being "Brave" at Haircut Appt.
Baine does NOT like to get his hair cut. I mean DOES NOT like it one bit. But last week when I took him, he said he wanted to wear his Hulk mask to help him be brave :) Then we went and picked out candy that he could have only if he was being a big boy during his hair cut. This seemed to work! Because he was the best I have ever seen him be. Was kind, polite, and kept asking people if they liked his hair :)
Mommy's Helper at Summer School
I teach summer school every year, and this year I did a fun activity with my students about fractions and relating it to real-life. On our last day, the students had to do stations with different recipes and had to half, double, triple, etc certain recipes and I also gave them the wrong measuring cups so they had to convert their fractions. Since we were going to be baking, I brought beau along with me. He was great help in the kitchen and even was able to learn a little about fractions :)
Friends Night at Joel and Allison's
We had a friends get together at Joel and Allison's a couple of weeks ago, and it was perfect weather to be outside and let the kids run around and play. Beau loved being around other kids and playing (I think he gets bored with brother and mommy at home).
