We took the boys to their first high school basketball game the other night. Beau was so excited to go and he keeps saying he wants to play basketball, but that could obviously change. Baine ended up loving going to the game and I bet you'll never guess why? Two words: CONCESSION STAND! Yep. I now know what the next 18+ years are going to be like for Joe and I. Bring at least $50 in cash to every sporting event so the boys can have at it at the concession stand. Baine sure did already! :) Between wrestling in the bleachers, cleaning their messes, overall the boys did great at the game.

Loving on Baby Regan
The boys are so cute when we are around Regan. The first thing Beau always asks to do is to hold her and BY HIMSELF. So, monkey see monkey do with Baine. He then wants to hold the baby by himself ;) Surprisingly, he is learning to be very gentle with her and not try to eat her. Maybe he will be okay with a new baby after all...maybe? :)
Super Hero Baine
Beau and Baine are definitely into dressing up as Super Heros lately. Baine is still a little small for the capes, but he always wants to copy what his big brother is doing. I love it when he puts on the mask and cape himself. It's often crooked or on upside down :) Makes it that much cuter!
Throw Back Thursday
As I was going through pictures on my old phone and computer, I came across these two pictures. The top picture is of Beau from 4 years ago..I can't believe how pretty he was/is :) He would have made a beautiful girl :) I remember how Joe teased Mary that day saying "if my son has nail polish on then I pick him up we're switch daycares" :). I did let his hair get a little long. But those curls...gahh!!!
The bottom picture is a VERY old picture. It would have been from 7 years ago. Where on Earth has time gone?! Joe, you became best friends with my family instantly. Clint always "teased" me when Joe and I started dating saying "even if you break up, I'll still be friends with Joe and ask him to hang out". I guess it was inevitable :)
Ayio's Birthday Party
Beau was invited to one of his classmates birthday parties last week. He seemed really excited to go, and even though we didn't know this little girl or her family, we want him to know how it is polite to always be friends with everyone and help your friends celebrate. They had a great time at the Nazarene play center, and I think the boys were just a little outnumbered by girls ;)
Clint and Caleb's Birthday
To celebrate Clint and Caleb's birthday, we went out in Des Moines to celebrate. We ate at our favorite Sushi restaurant Wasabi Tao. It was great to be with everyone and be kid free for a little bit...especially since our countdown is on until we become Pierson Party of 5! Happy birthday to our best friends, Clint and Caleb! We hope you had a great day :)
Game Night at Church
Last week was game night at church. We were able to have pizza, ice-cream and play games with other families. Beau, Banx and Baine really took a liking towards Twister. Baine didn't really understand how to play, so he just copied whatever Beau and Banx did :) Since we forgot to bring our Bingo game for Beau, he insisted we play Bingo when we got home. That kid LOVES Bingo. I guess he'll have a new favorite spot at the county fair!
