Not a Fan of Santa
I took Beau to see Santa again this year, except this time, he was not a fan at all. I kept telling him "You need to go tell Santa what you want for Christmas." Beau just looked at me with his baby blues and said, "Well, you can just tell him for me mommy." So we agreed that I would go tell Santa with him. He was, however, a big fan of Mickey...no surprise there. He then asked if we were going to go see Mickey's castle and boat. Not this year buddy, but someday we will!

Pestering Daddy
Sunday Joe was trying to take a cat nap, and Beau had other plans for him. While Joe was resting, Beau went and grabbed his stickers and started putting them all over Joe's back. He didn't even wake up!
Worn Out

For the past year, Beau has decided that he would rather "party" than go to bed. It can be such a struggle getting that little stinker to bed at night, or even to take naps (even though he desperately needs them). Sunday we were watching the Packers game, and all of a sudden I look over where Beau was sitting to ask him a question, and I find him sound asleep in the little nook of the couch. I could not believe it. Apparently all of our family/friend time had worn him out from the weekend. Maybe he will make a habit of this?? Doubtful :)
Thanksgiving 2014
This is the only picture I have from Thanksgiving this year, but it is all I needed! It was so much fun having the boys around all of our families. I am so grateful for so many things. The obvious: family, friends, having a nice home, good jobs, etc. But the most I am thankful for, are Joe and our boys. I have really been struggling the past couple of years of figuring out what my place is and my "calling". While I always thought it was teaching, and I still do to a certain point, I have realized that being a mommy is what makes me most happy in life. I am so thankful that God has blessed Joe and I with two healthy and happy sons. Too often we take life for granted. I never want to do that, especially when it comes to my family and our health.

Making It Snow in Mommy's Kitchen
Christmas Star
Beau has been absolutely adamant this year about putting up a Christmas star on the tree. So, Joe got out the ladder, and our "big boy" climbed all the way to the top--by himself--and put the star on! Granted, I climbed up behind him to just be safe, but he is our little monkey that is for sure. Joe asked, "Beau are you scared being up that hight?" "No, daddy. I not scared!" He is our little daredevil.
Our Little Pumpkin
When Beau was just a few days old, we took his picture in his pumpkin trick or treat bucket. We decided to do the same thing with Baine and make it a tradition with our babies, especially since Beau and Baine's birthdays are only 4 days apart. Needless to say, Baine and Beau look like brothers, that's for sure! Baine is changing so much everyday, and I just can't tell anymore if he looks like Beau still or not. Beau's blonde curly hair, on the right, gives him away since Baine has DARK hair, or had dark hair, he is bald now :)
