Haircut #2 Already!

One thing is certain, Beau has been blessed with a beautiful head of hair!  The long, curly blond locks keep growing faster and faster!  As a result, Beau was in desperate need of another haircut!  Last night I had a hair appointment, and I decided to take Beau along with me to get his hair trimmed quickly.  I asked my mom to come along to help with Beau because I thought for sue he would get restless and need constant attention.  Little did I know that he was going to be the flirt of the beauty salon and be the center of everyone's attention!  Thank you, though, mom for coming along and keeping him corralled in one location :)
He was PERFECT getting his hair cut, just as long as he had grilled cheese in his mouth :)

Barely even moved

Being the center of attention is clearly his thing :)

Looks good Beau-man!

Spring Time=Park Time

This past weekend we were so happy to see sunshine and to whip out our shorts and sandals!  Joe and I decided since it was incredibly nice out, we should take Beau to the park (we LOVE that Edmundson Park is just right down the road from us now!).  Beau has become very independent lately, and this trait showed through as he wanted NO help whatsoever when going down any of the slides or marry-go-round.  I think since Beau loved the park so much, Daddy should build him his very own playground in our backyard :)

Easter 2013

Even though I failed at taking several pictures for Easter ( I do have a few to add later), Brook did capture this hilarious video of Beau and Banx fighting over a toy at my Grandma Betty's on Easter.

Fun Night at School!

A few weeks ago, our school had "Fun Night" which consists of dancing, dodge ball, Wii, etc.  Beau has become quite fond of helping me chaperone these nights since he seems to get a lot of attention!  He sure did on this night!  He danced the night away and seemed to find a few lovely ladies to join him :)

Of course he had McDonald's first in mommy's classroom :)

Thankful for Grandparents

As I never thought I would end up living in Osky---I truly thought I wanted to move away to a big city--I am quickly realizing how living here is the best decision I have ever made for many reasons.  Now that Joe and I have a family, I cannot imagine how hard it would be to not live near ALL of Beau's grandparents.  I remember how I used to beg my mom/dad to let me go to my Grandma Peggy's house---she was by far the best grandma anyone could ever ask for.  Now, I am starting to see how much Beau loves going to see all of his grandparents as well.  As I see how close Beau is getting with family members, it certainly warms my heart.  I know he truly loves his cousin Banx, and the play time they have, but maybe Beau needs a more "permanent" play-mate ;)  Possibly one in the very near future??? :)

Since Mary has been gone this week for vacation, my mom (and dad last week) have been so generous to watch the kids.  Just another reason as to how wonderful it is to have grandparents near by!  So thank you ALL for always wanting to have Beau and wanting to have special time with him.

Great memories, with great friends

This past weekend was a weekend to remember!  We had several friends coming back to town and we were able to see them all!  My good friend and college roommate, Ashley, came back from Davenport and spent all Friday night with us.  Maggie also came back for the weekend and we were able to keep her to ourselves for most of Friday and Saturday :)  Saturday night we had all of our friends over and it was a great time!  So glad we were able to see everyone and cannot wait to do it again :)

My New Grocery Shopping Partner :)

Normally, Beau can get very impatient when going to the grocery store with me.  But last week, he discovered Fareway had Race Car carts.  He INSISTED that he "drive".  When it was time to leave, he had a meltdown in the check out lane----oh my little drama king :)
