We celebrated Thanksgiving Day at my dad's house. The kids had so much fun painting ornaments, playing together, and doting over Baby Reyer. When I was asking the kids what they are thankful for this year, this was their responses:
Piper: doggies and Frozen
Baine: dinosaurs
Beau: "I'm thankful for good people. Because if it wasn't for good people, a lot more people would have died in the 9/11 attacks. And the good people on the plane stopped it from crashing into a building to hurt more people." I had instant tears in my eyes from this. He thought long and hard about his answer too before he told me. I was not expecting this at all.
