A few weeks ago, Brook had a hystorectomy. Praise the Lord she is recovering well and the surgery went perfect. I know she was nervous, but my dad and I were with her all day and she was in wonderful hands.

Tim and Pam's Wedding
Saturday was Tim and Pam's wedding. I left the lake to come back for it and be there for Shari and my family. Brook, Bond, Banx I made our entrance for sure ;) I spilled a beer all over Grandma as soon as I sat down, Brook wrote out awesome marriage advice on the cards at the tables, and of course we had to take advantage of a good photo op. Congrats Tim and Pam! We wish you a lifetime of happiness and love!
Fridays at the Lake
Since the kids and I have been at the lake non-stop lately, we've been going out boating on Fridays and sometimes with friends if Joe isn't able to leave work. Friday the kids had so much fun on Amanda and Kendall's boat. We anchored out in a cove where the kids jumped, swam and had the best afternoon!
Lake Time With Mommy
The kids and I have been staying down at the lake a lot over the last couple of weeks and enjoying our last few weeks of summer. Baine absolutely LOVES it at the lake and camper. Piper and I love being away too and feeling like we're on a mini-vacation :)
My Spider-Man Crew
Because who doesn't love to wear a spider-man costume and ride bike around the campground in 90 degree weather?? :)
Sassy Pants
Little Miss is quite the sassy pants as of late. She rolls her eyes. She mouths off. She loves to argue. But gosh darn it she melts my heart and makes me so happy. How is that possible to be such a stinker yet the sweetest little girl all wrapped into one?! :)
Ice Cream With Papa
My dad felt terrible for me and the kids on that Thursday when we were waiting on results on Koby. He knew Beau was so upset. So to help distract them, he took the kids to get ice-cream that afternoon. I love moments like this and family to help raise my troops! It really does take a village :)
Friends and Lake Time
I love my time at the lake with my friends and possibly staying up too late ;) For so many years I was either pregnant, nursing or taking care of the littles and now that the kids are starting to get older, I'm finally enjoying my time at the lake. Only took a decade ;)
