Boys' Weekend at the Lake

Last weekend, Beau and Baine had their own weekend at the lake with Uncle Josh, Grandma Chelle and Grandpa Scott. They were not sad at all to be ditching us. They think Uncle Josh is the coolest guy around and love staying on the boat. Needless to say, they were in heaven all weekend. They both fished (even caught catfish), biked, played at the campgrounds and had the best time ever they told me. 

Many Sleeping Positions of Piper Collins

Piper will fall asleep in the most awkward, uncomfortable positions. But, I don't dare move her---do not wake the bear! ;) 

Nighttime Playground Playtime

Baine and Piper are loving being outside right now. They try to stay out ALL NIGHT LONG. It was almost 9:00 the other night and I couldn't find them. Finally, I saw they had "snuck outside" and were playing on the playground. I couldn't even be mad. It was so sweet. 

Pool Day With the Teachers

Last week a few of us teachers got together for a much needed pool day and kid free day :) It was so nice to see everyone outside of school (who am I kidding, besides Zoom meetings on the computer). It was the perfect afternoon and we already are needing another day like this.

Sunday Funday With the Fam Bam

Yesterday Brook and the kids came boating with us for the first time, and it was so much fun! The kids played at the beach, swam, built sand castles, and asked for snacks all day long ;) We hope they keep coming! The best Sunday Funday we've had yet :)

Bond and Baine at Work

Uncle Austin had Baine with him and Bond at the "farm" the other day. These two boys are best buds and I just love their friendship and closeness. They were climbing hay bales while Austin worked, and can literally have fun together wherever they are at! They need to teach the older kids how to do this ;) 

Hair By Daddy

Every night, Piper asks her Daddy to braid her hair in an Elsa braid. And without hesitation, he does. It is the sweetest thing ever to see. And to know how much it means to her :) 

Baine's Successful Dentist Appointemnt

Well, after several tries, Baine finally was able to be brave at his dentist appointment! No tears, no shakes, just a mask--which he said helped him be brave ;) He is officially ready to go for Kindergarten now. How is that possible?! 

Throwback to My Bridal Shower

While cleaning out tubs and organizing pictures, I found this one. It was the day of my bridal shower that my mom had at her house. So crazy this was over 9 years ago. I can still remember her wearing that shirt and hosting everyone. It was one of her favorite things to do. And she was so proud to have people over to her home. I miss it. I miss her. 

The Boating Life Continues

We are living for the weekends at the lake already. The boys are at the ages where they are finally easy to take care of the lake and are good at entertaining themselves. Piper, well, she is working on it ;) The kids' favorite spot at the lake is at the beach---and honestly, it's ours too :) We love seeing so many of our friends and spending the whole day/weekend together relaxing and playing in the water. Cannot wait for all the weekends like this to come :)
