Visit From Pat and Jade

Pat and his fiancé, Jade, were in Iowa a few weekends back. We loved being able to see them, spend time together, and catch up in preparation of their wedding this fall. We miss you tons, Pat and can't wait to see you again this summer! 

Holly's "Going Away Party"

My friend Holly was to be moving to Bermuda this month for work. So her mom was throwing a St. Patty's Day party/Going Away party for her. Sadly, with the Corono Virus and country shutting down, her leave has been canceled for now. But we had the party anyways and we were way overdue for seeing one another. She has always been such a dear friend and we are always able to pick up right where we left off :)

Family Bowling Night

We kicked off spring break by going bowling with Shawn, Clint, Tara and all of the kids. Beau was definitely in his element and could have stayed there for hours and hours. He even ended up bowling for the younger kids once the were worn out :) 

Blessed With Great Girls

On the last day of school, right before spring break, our two baby-sitters Kaylee and Abby surprised me at school with flowers and my favorite energy drink "just because". I just love these girls to pieces and am so proud of the young women they are turning into. My kids adore them, and more importantly, they adore my children. Joe and I definitely hit the jackpot with babysitters. I don't know how we got so lucky!

Baine's Kindergarten Round-Up Day 2020

Baine had kindergarten round-up right before spring break. He was so incredibly excited for this day and had been looking forward to it for weeks. The night before, he told me he wanted to pick out his clothes (which never happens). He then said he wanted to wear jeans and a sweater with a collar. Because that's what big boys wear who go to kindergarten. And for those of you who don't know, Baine despises wearing jeans--like he refuses to wear them! So this was a very big deal in our house. I couldn't believe it. Baine did so well at his round-up. He was slightly nervous at first, but then fell right into a comfortable zone and had a smile on his face when I picked him up. He cannot wait to go to Bubby's school everyday and be a "big boy at a big school".

Meeting Baby Barret

Our good friends, Kyle and Kaitlyn, had their 2nd son Barret. We finally were able to go over and meet him. Beau and Piper were enamored and didn't want to leave. In fact, Beau keeps asking us for another baby. Oh my sweet Beau. I don't think so :)

Special Readers for Piper at School

Piper had her Papa and She-She come read to her class at school during her birthday month. She was so excited to tell me about it and now always connects Papa and her Pete the Cat birthday book when it's time to read :)

Hotel Fun With Papa and She She

My dad and Shari SPOILED the kids this past weekend and took them all to stay at a hotel so they could get away and swim. The kids will remember this forever--I hope! They are still talking about it and already asking to go again :) Thank you so much Dad and Shari! 

Rielly's St. Patty's Day Party

Saturday was the Rielly's St Patty's Day party at the Tap. It was the best day and we all had so much fun! The girls and I look forward to this day every year and getting to spend time together and knowing we will be with each other. We already can't wait for next year :)
