Memorial Day Weekend 2019

Well, the weather wasn't exactly the best it has been, but it wasn't the worst either. Joe and the boys went down to the lake Friday, while Piper and I stayed back so I could join the teachers celebrating the end of the school year :) Joe and the boys had fun Friday golfing and fishing, and then continued on Saturday morning. We were able to go out boating for awhile and it was beautiful out! The boys were even brave enough to get in the water---brrrrr. We wrapped up the long weekend with having a barbecue at our house with Clint, Tara, Regan and Shawn. It was a beautiful night for it and the perfect feel for summer!

In honor of the true meaning of this holiday, we remember. To our loved ones, to those who have served our country, and those still serving, thank you.

Baine's Last Day at Ms. Richelle's

Thank you so much Ms. Richelle for working so hard with Baine and helping his grow academically, behaviorally, and socially. I am still in shock with how much he has achieved in two years. Way to go Baine-Joe, we are so proud of you! 

Baine's 3 Year Preschool Program

Baine did AWESOME at his end of the year program this year. We might have bribed him JUST a tad, but I'm not above bribery in some cases. And this was a must need to case :) He didn't complain once, and stayed by his classmates the whole time. So proud of you, buddy!

Maggie's Bridal Shower

Saturday I had Maggie's bridal shower, and bachelorette party. It was so fun to shower her with love and gifts in preparations of her wedding. Her and Ben make an amazing couple and I am so excited for the two of them. Cheers to you two! :)

Pampered by Daddy

It is no secret that Piper has Joe wrapped around her little finger. He caters to her more than anyone in our house!! She wanted her toes painted, so obviously Daddy happily agrees to paint her toes pink:) 

Live Healthy Iowa Track Meet

Beau had his first track meet on Wednesday night, and he did so awesome! We are so proud of him for trying a new sport, and giving it his best :) He placed 2nd in the standing long jump, and 3rd in the 200m. Way to go Beau!!

Beau is loving track still, and is quite the runner. Baine and Piper now love going to watch and cheer on Beau. Piper thinks she needs to run with him--so that definitely makes it interesting to watch play out ;) 

Baine's Last Day of 3 Year old Pre-School

Today is Baine's last day at Ms. Richelle's. He has had a great experience over the last two years with her, and has made more progress than I would have ever imagined. I am so thankful for Ms. Richelle, Baine's therapists, and our family who has worked so much with him to help him overcome some of his road block with his hearing, speaking, and occupational skills. Way to go buddy, you are such a rockstar!!! 

Best Friends

I just love how close Banx and Piper are already. Since neither of them have a sister, they will have each other to fill that role. Piper is always asking where Banx is, and when Banx comes to my house, she doesn't even care about me anymore---it's all about seeing Piper and the boys! Which honestly, I love more than anything :) Stay close, you girls, you're going to need each other more than you think!
