Beau's Pre-K Graduation: May 22, 2017

Last week, Beau had his Pre-K graduation at the Methodist church. I cannot believe our baby is ready for Kindergarten. Beau did a great job singing and staying focused during his program. He said when he grows up, he wants to be an Engineer like his Uncle Josh and make $300 a year so he can buy a Nintendo Switch :) Oh son, I wish $300 would be enough to earn a living:). Beau, you have been in pre-school for 3 years now, and you absolutely love school! Please don't change that. You are so blessed to have amazing teachers and one AWESOME Grandma Chelle who did most of your transportation over the past 3 years and always had lunch dates with you. Thank you Michelle! :)

Piper: 3 Months

How is it possible that Piper is 3 months old already?! I find myself always saying this, but time is truly going too fast. I want to keep her small forever!  I love the baby phase, it probably is my favorite :)

At 3 Months:
-Weighs 13 pounds
-Wears 3-6 month clothing
-Diapers size 1-2
-Laughing all the time!
-Smiles when she sees someone
-Loves to cuddle
-Sleeping 10-11 hours at night
-Hates to be cold, and always needs to be snuggled in a blanket
-Her eyes are still changing, but looking to be more blue than brown right now
-Getting a LITTLE bit of hair in. Looks to be blonde as of now!
-Getting her first tooth!

Finally Swimming Season

We went swimming at Nana's pool for the first time this weekend, and it was perfect! Beau picked up with his swimming skills right where he left off and insisted that he still doesn't need water wings :) Baine took a little bit to warm up and remember the water, but once he did, he was swimming (with wings on of course) by himself in the pool for hours. Hello summer!

Mother's Day 2017

Yesterday was a great day to celebrate Mother's Day---Piper was dedicated at church and it was so beautiful! After her Dedication, we had a lunch at our house with some of our friends and family. While the day wasn't filled with anything spectacular, gifts, or flowers, spending it with my kids was the best gift of all. Beau was sweet enough to make me a card and even sing me a Happy Mother's Day song, which I uploaded before this. He definitely is always wanting to make me feel special :)

I am so blessed to have amazing women in my life who are fabulous mothers and role-models for me to look up to. I hope all of you had a great day!

Piper's Church Dedication May 14, 2017

Yesterday was Piper's Dedication service at church. Pastor Tim Johnson did a beautiful job and it was such a blessed day. I am so grateful for our church and faith that we are able to dedicate our children to be raised as children of God. Piper was dedicated along with our friends' newborn son, Henrik Stout. It was a special day for everyone and we were so blessed to have our family and closest friends there.
