This past weekend Josh came home again to help Joe finish Beau's fort/swing set. Not only did these two work on finishing it, but Clint and Alex also came over Friday to help with the fort. It's amazing how much work four guys can get done in a matter of a few hours :). Other than putting down mulch, adding a swing and a sandbox, Beau's (and our future children's) fort is complete! Beau was outside all weekend long playing on it and asking us to play with him. It was so amazing for Josh to take the hours he spent designing this fort and then coming home the past two weekends to help Joe build it. So thank you Josh!!!! Beau is one spoiled little dude :)

First Fishing Outing
Joe and Josh took Beau for his first fishing "trip" this weekend. Nana and Den-Den had gotten Beau a fishing pole for Easter, and it worked perfect for Beau! Joe did say that after about 10 minutes, Beau was getting restless. I guess he gets that from his mamma :).
Like Father Like Son
It is no secret that Beau just absolutely adores his daddy. He always tries to copy his mannerisms and repeat what he says. We were sitting at the patio table the other night and I looked over to see this....priceless...
New Fort/Swing Set
Josh has definitely spoiled Beau with designing him an AWESOME fort/swing set. Josh came home this past weekend and helped Joe start building this new fort. It was so exciting to see it start going up and how special it will be for Beau and the rest of our children to know that Josh and Joe made this themselves :) Beau can't wait to see the final product!

Sweet Corn Time!
The other night we had corn on the cob for supper, and Beau was in Heaven to say the least. He LOVES to eat corn on the cob like a big boy. I just hope he's a good helper this year when we freeze our sweet corn!

Ice-Cream Lover
Sunday night we went to Frosty Udder for a little treat. Beau absolutely loves getting ice-cream cones and will devour it! Here is a picture to prove he means business when getting "ishe-cream".
Tulip Time 2014
Tulip Time has always been a tradition for me. I love seeing all of the people, the beautiful tulips, and of course the great food! This year, the weather was absolutely perfect and couldn't have made Tulip Time any more enjoyable. Beau and I marched in the "Dutch Baby" part of the parade on Saturday. While he wasn't sure if he wanted to ride in the wagon, it took a little bribing to get him to agree :)
Digging the change out of the fountain...oops! |
He decided at the end he wanted to pull the wagon :) |
He took relaxation to a whole new level during the parade by letting his feet dangle off to the side of the wagon! |
