11 Months Old!

Happy 11 months Beau!

A few things Beau is doing right now at 11 months....

-Waving bye
-Claps
-Shakes his head to say no, to dance, or to be funny like his daddy
-can sign "more"
-standing on his own
-can take a few steps---but far too lazy to walk :)

We are having so much fun with our little guy.  I can't believe it's almost been a year! :(  My how time is flying by.

Dramatic Sleeper

Beau is starting to become a little dramatic--not quite sure where he gets that from ;)---but lately his dramatic ways are from his sleeping patterns.  These two photos explain it all...

24th Birthday!

Last weekend was my birthday, and I must say Joe did a number for it this year.  Friday night we went out to eat with a couple of our good friends at Peppers and ended the night with relaxing at home and watching a movie (Joe kept telling me he wanted me to get a good night's rest).

The next morning (the morning of my birthday) he woke me up BRIGHT AND EARLY and told me to pack a bag, and we needed to get going!  Little did I know, that we were on our way to Des Moines and met Brook, Austin and Banx at the Farmer's Market.  Best surprise ever!  Brook and I did some shopping that day while the guys napped with the babies at the hotel.

Brook had a babysitter come up to Des Moines to stay in the hotel with the babies so we could go out and celebrate!  Dena also came up to celebrate the night with me!  We had dinner at Django--my favorite restaurant and hit a few of the drink establishments before we called it a night.

We've got a walker on our hands!

This past weekend Beau had fun playing with ANOTHER new toy Grandma Michelle got him...his very own push/ride/walk car :)  He LOVES it.  He giggles the whole time he is playing with it.  And...he started to walk this weekend with it!  He is gradually taking a few steps on his own, but I have yet to capture it on camera.  Pictures to come :)

Bath Time!

In a matter of years, Beau and Banx will hate me for posting this...but how could I not?!  They really are the two most identical looking COUSINS ever! :)
