King of the Castle!

Grandpa Scott and Grandma Michelle are sure spoiling Baby Beau with the new toy castle they got him!  Beau loved playing with it ALL weekend and we could NOT get him to stop steering the wheel (for those of you that don't know, Beau has is fascinated with any type of wheel).  Needless to say, Beau is already acting like he rules the world...this could be a long 18 years ;) Haha!

10 Months!

Swingggg!

Joe, "Uncle" Pat and I took Beau to the park on Sunday.  He LOVED swinging in the big kids swing.  He was laughing and smiling the whole time!  Whenever I learn to upload a video, I'll put it up too :)

 

Punishment!

This is what Miss Mary will be doing from now on to my precious baby boy if we send him in ISU attire.  I guess it's a given, Beau has to be a Hawkeye fan :)

Good Eater!

Beau and I met Joe at Wendy's for lunch the other day, and instead of ordering him the usual chicken nuggets, we thought we would try with a cheeseburger.  Result was....he LOVED it!  He even ate it like a big boy :) 

Summer Bash 2012!

 

A few weekends ago was Summer Bash at the lake.  We had a wonderful time with our family and friends!  It was a nice, relaxing weekend for Joe and I since Beau was with Nana partially and Grandpa Gene the rest of the weekend---Joe and I ended up missing him by the next morning!

Sweet Corn Festival!

Up town Thursday night was the summer Sweet Corn Festival.  Beau had a GREAT time testing out the corn and seeing if it tasted anything like the Rainbow sweet corn :)

Fun Weekend with Family and Friends!

Two weekends ago, we had several friends down at the lake.  It was wonderful to see everyone together at the one place Joe and I love to be the most...on the water :)  Beau of course was the center of attention doing his new "tricks" and showing off his need to drive the boat!

9 Months!

Sorry for the delay in updates--it has been quite a busy summer here in the Pierson household!

On the 21st (of July), Beau turned 9 months!  I can't believe how quickly this is going!  He weighed in at 21 pounds and our very tall boy is now over 32 inches tall!  He is off the charts for height, but not so much for weight :)  Dr. Bruxvoort told us not to worry, that we will most likely just have a tall slender young man.  Here is an update of what Beau is doing now:

-can say Mama and Dada!
-walks around furniture
-no more baby food in this house!  Beau has quite the appetite these days.
-still sleeping around 11-12 hours a night (he slept in until 9:30 today!)
-starting to mimic which is hilarious
-loves playing with his cousin, Banx
-favorite food is macaroni and cheese with tuna
-drinking whole milk now!  (I know Dr.'s say to wait, but this growing boy is no longer in the need of formula--he needs the real stuff!)
-can sign for "more" and "all done" and shakes his head for "no"
-just learned how to wave "bye-bye"
